Firstly let me say this course is absolutely beautiful. Walking next to the super tall trees feels majestic, especilly in the morning when the sun's rays creeps through the forest canopy reflected from the spores and dusts of the earth. Definitely a moment I took to ground myself, be present, and appreciate what I was experiencing. Amazing! Yulga is a fun and challenging wooded and 99%flat course. Almost every hole (if not every!) demands you to tee off to hit a gap, and if you miss it your probably going to be off the fairway, scramble, and likely bogey. 😓 Had bug spray but I probably didn't need it. I was surprised! Almost every tee pad had a neat little log bench. The signage noting what the hole looks like was great, displaying foliage, the tee color options, and where the baskets could be. There are magnets to indicate where the basket.is currently placed, but some of the times the magnets were inaccurate and the basket was in one of the other locations. The mulched paths between some of the holes is a nice touch, but knowing which direction and path to take could be confusing. Udisc definitely helped with directions and where to find the next hole. I wish there was a running water bathroom onsite, if that were the case Yulga would have been the perfect wooded course. Great job for those who designed and maintains the course! Like another reviewer said, gives Blue Ribbon Pines vibes from East Bethel, MN, BUT Yulga has their own flavor which is sweet. I will definitely be coming back, and maybe by then there will be more amenities added.

Great course definitely stop by if your in the area. Could use some arrows pointing to the next basket, but overall really fun. Kinda reminds me of blue ribbon pines.

It’s a very fun course, but variety is lacking in the altitude category. Flat and cart friendly. Having three tee pads and multiple basket locations is it’s saving grace. Some fairways are close to tee pads so it’s smart to keep aware of your surroundings.
