Fair Conditions
Country Side YMCAs Hewitt Nature trial sits on 56 acres of land. The new lay out (being developed and redesigned by Bill Wilson) wraps around 1 pond, has a few baskets being tucked into tree lines, now includes 3 or 4 longer wooded tunnel holes, and few elevated tees for down hill shots. Currently using 10 baskets for 27 holes Countryside wanted to make a course enjoyable for all skill sets.
Red 9:
Being the easiest layout it was designed for beginners. Mostly made up of holes 200ft and under. The red 9 still requires a wide array of shots. For seasoned players its an enjoyable putter/approach/warm up practice.
Yellow 9:
Adding distance, mandos, OB, tight gap shots, and elevated baskets the yellow tees are more of a challenge.
Blue 9:
Newest addition! Adds the dog leg left pond hole, long 100-150ft tunnel shots, plus a few 400ft plus holes. For advance players.
Hewitt Natural trail has changed considerably. Fair ways are defined and well maintained! Still working to clear out the tunnels more. Clear signs for hole to hole navigating. Better tee signs for hole descriptions. Define the course par and the OBs/mandos that are fair. With that being said the course is leaps and bounds better than it once was now that iron man Bill is taking care of the course!
Hope you guys get a chance to enjoy the course and give us feed back. Lebanon is a great disc golf town and were looking to have another great course in the area!

"A LOT of newly planted trees, probably 16+ between each tee and hole on the mid range course. I could see 7/9 baskets from where I was standing, with probably 20 visible tees. Private land, must be YMCA member. Maintenance gate toward the back propped open during the day. Confusing as all get out, didn't finish 9 before I took off for anywhere else. ☹️"

"You have to be a member of YMCA to play. Not open to the public"

"Pros:
3 turf tees per basket
Short, fun layout
Some woods
Never crowded
Cons:
Private, fenced in course. You either climb the 8 ft fence, wait for the gate to be open, ask permission, or join the Y.
Lots of thorns
Really short
This is NOT 27 holes, it’s 9 baskets with 3 pads
Signage is confusing, you need a map
Multiple baskets visible from most tees"

"It’s a putter course that desperately needs signs. The plot of land is great. If they got a course designer in here they could make something special"
