Seasonal
Restricted Hours
Very Wet after Winter thaw and into early Spring. Best not to use course at these times to preserve course.
Fair Conditions
⚠️ Ankle deep water in a couple spots, wear boots. Snow minimal, no need for ribbons. Tee pads clear but some slightly sunk in. Very playable
The 9 hole beginners course has fairly straight and narrow fairways, due to wetland areas around the course. The course is very wet after Winter thaw and into the Spring. Recommended not to play during this time to preserve the course.
Holes are par 3 and there is an area in the beginning that is a warm-up tee, with tee pad and three baskets set at 100’, 200’ and 300’ feet. Great place to practice throwing and putting. Tee pads are green synthetic turf.
The course was created as an 8th grade student challenge for the physical education classes at Williston Central School. The maintenance of the course was turned over to Williston Recreation & Parks. Course has gone through some changes to make area safe for all users- walkers, bikers, golfers, etc.

"Holes are all straight shots in the 150-250 range. The distance signs are laughably inaccurate and the teepads are awkwardly short. In the fall the underbrush has died back enough but I could see finding discs being a pain in the spring and summer. Better than nothing if you live nearby, but not worth traveling for."

"It’s hard for me to hate this course. I’ve played it only a handful of times, got my first ever ace here on hole 9 and, I have yet to loose a disc. However, it’s simply not the greatest of courses out there. Shots are short whit brutal rough and thorn bushes, most lines are very simple for an above average player as more beginner players struggle to hit the fairway. Essentially I can’t see myself playing here when CVU is 15 min away."
