Found a disc today and contacted the owner. Left the disc on top of basket 18 and someone stole it. Y’all need some manners.

Very beautiful course with a few very visible trees and forest lines to work around and rolling Ohio hills. Despite this it's still easy to find disks in the treeline, so long as you keep an eye on where they entered. The challenge may be a little high for newer players that don't yet know how to handle hills both up and down, throw decent distances, or know basic shot shaping, but its easily a great course to play or challenge yourself with reasonable pars.

Harbin is an 18 Hole Course with varying distance ranging from short fairly beginner friendly holes, to longer, pro level accommodating holes that set up for big distance lines. Both the front and back 9 play fairly quickly with each half playing from pin to pad, not having much space to wander between holes. The course does not have many holes out of eyesight and has pretty well defined lines. The grass/rough can get gnarly off of the fairway and the thick of some of the trees/honeysuckle can be quite difficult to navigate for a shank. Practicing some alternate lines and ending up in the rough left me quite cut up yesterday from thorns, bushes, and tight paths in the brush to navigate. In between hole 4/5 is where most amenities like water and restrooms will be. There is a nice gazebo/patio with a gorgeous view of the Butler County region and the course has scenic views of the area throughout. The mowed fairways are a nice touch that add complexity but can be brutal to beginners when the grass rough is overdue for a mowing (as it was yesterday). Each hole has concrete tee pads in fairly good nick. Course is a 3.5 as it is aging and could benefit from a refresh like new baskets, or alternate pin placements, to add variety to course.

I know a lot of people will say this is a very friendly beginner course. I disagree due to the rough being so thick. It is really punishing for a beginner. The grass also is high. If you cannot reliably throw on the fairway don't come here. Short holes does not equal beginner friendly.

Not a super long course but really great shot variety and really great fairway upkeep. Great course to practice at and mess around with different shot shapes.

Some teepads are a bit short and have drop offs after, but overall a great course

Nice, relatively open design using mowed fairways. Hole 6 has an issue with the rough to the right of the basket seems to be falling over into the fairway atm, would be nice if they addressed that.

Challenging and good variety of shots despite no wooded holes. Great course to work on open shots and a couple of ace runs along the way.

3/5 - above average
Pros:
-nice variety of holes/distances. Uphill and downhill shots, some light woods, many gaps needing hit
-good variety in distance, from 180’-700+
-plenty of parking and a couple of shelters
-park keeps up with fairways
-nice layout, hole 9 and 18 both end by the parking lot. Course flows well.
-view after hole 4 is nice.
Cons:
-Baskets are old. Hole 9s chains weren’t all attached
-fairways are well kept but everything else can get rough. Grass off the fairways is high and the tree line and bushes can get really thick including thorns
-some teepads are subpar. Hole 8 is short and slopes down. Hole 15s tee faces the wrong direction. Other tees are sloped or cracked.
-pars are outdated. This is reasonably a par 56, with 4 and 18 being the only true par 4s
Harbin is a strong classic course in Cincinnati. It’s not as pretty as some area parks and is definitely dated but it’s that local course that fits well into the rotation of courses a regular player will want to return to.

Great course, very fun to play. Lots of open holes, but not too easy. Elevation changes and distance provide a wide variety of tee shots. Wind adds even more difficulty.
