"Pads need replacement or upkeep. Otherwise an amazing course with great shot and elevation change."

"Some tee pads in varying states of disrepair. Overall fun course."

"It’s a hike but beautiful course! Only the back 9 has a little bit of terrain, a couple valley shots, but overall one of the better places to disc in the northland! "

"Definitely a hike, absolutely gorgeous, worth my 2 hour drive from the twin cities. "

"Beautiful course, lots of tough wooded lines but you can be rewarded on a good shot. A spotter can be helpful on a few holes, especially the back 9. Points off for tiny dink tee pads, mediocre signage, and some needed upkeep on the wood boardwalks and rotted step boards. Overall great challenging course."

"Honestly this is my second favorite course of all time behind The Canyons at Dellwood. I played the short baskets cause I got my booty kicked by the eagle but it was quite lovely. Again, wouldn’t recommend a cart"

"Great condition new holes are improvements. 18 is thick brush fairway "
Jul 15, 2022
"Absolutely amazing course! Played long to silver baskets and it was a well setup course. The par had been set really well. Some of the holes have an eagle chance if you get good distance off the tee. Keep a close eye on your throws or have a spotter as discs can easily disappear if you're not careful."

"Most holes had no fairway to speak of"

"Do not take a cart beautiful course and well laid out but paths sometimes are hard to find from long baskets"

"By far the most beautiful (and challenging) course I've ever played. Be ready to HIKE"

"Hilly but fun"
Aug 29, 2021
"Technically and physically challenging intermediate+ course through the woods and foothills. Some incredible shots on the back 9 over ravines, many sloped/turtleshell greens, and some VERY unforgiving rough areas make this a very fun course for those looking for a challenge."

"It hurts to give this course this low of a rating. It would be a 5 in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the signage. It's. 5/5 for fun to play. 5/5 for the immaculate grooming. It's a 0/5 for frustrating signs/not up to date maps. I hate that I have to walk forward on most holes to figure out what baskets are where. If you aren't going to have signs/maps, and make people use a 3rd party app (udisc) then make sure they're up to date. "

"No hole maps and too many blind shots"
Jul 18, 2021
"Nice course. Challenging but scenic hike. Pretty short wooded course. Signage is tough at spots even with uDisc. Arrows on the “Next Tee” signs would help.
Midrange and a putter most holes."

"Scary small pads and the trails/land zones need work but awesome holes. Oh yeah, and a couple pins were tucked way back not where they were on the "current layout" making them difficult to find and in overgrown landing areas. Sure it was for a tournament but the front desk should share that kind of thing. (The person we paid had no clue... Actually suggested this course of the three for us with strollers. Umm NO!) Looking forward to coming back and playing all 3. This could be DG Mecca."

"So beautiful but so difficult, especially in summer with all of the foliage. Up and down forestested hills make the back nine pretty grueling. Lost two discs. Not for beginners or the faint of heart. "
Jun 24, 2021
"Hilly hike with some really cool holes but a few that could use a little maintenance (very easy to lose disc). Could definitely use signage, Hard to tell where pins were on some"
May 28, 2021
"A lot of elevation on the back 9 but a awsome course "
Mar 12, 2021
"Amazingly beautiful course, throwing off, over, and up ravines, and ridges, through a magical cedar forest. You may lose a disc, but it’s such a gorgeous hike you won’t even care. "
Nov 21, 2020
"Very challenging and treacherous at times lol
Love the long layout, couple teeboxes need a some salt on the back 9 but otherwise in great condition for late November!!"

"Great course, really poor signage of where the baskets are "
Oct 10, 2020
"White Pines course has great elevation and layout once you figure it out. Signage needs to be provided with basket locations. First round was not as enjoyable as the next round will be."

"Since moving to MN, I've complained about courses lacking elevation. This one delivered. Nothing like starting with a 700' downhill shot.
I was however a little confused on where the pin was on different holes. UDisc helps, but tee signs that show the shape of the holes could really help. Still super fun. "

"Beautiful course. Logger’s out Here clearing brush too, so getting even better."

"Needs better signage, my group missed 2 holes. Other than that it's a beautiful course that's well maintained. "
Sep 8, 2019
"Great course and wonderful complement to the other courses on the grounds. Tough, technical and physically demanding. Fairways are manicured well, but course design is so intense in the woods that it can be hard to know where the pin / next tee pad is. Overall absolutely phenomenal, but had two holes not in the ground, only could play 16/18. Possibly temp holes but again, always hard to know. "
Aug 25, 2019
"It's beautiful and challenging. It will require lots of different types of shots. The greens are very fast. The old forest is truly beautiful, it feels like you're playing in a rainforest. The rough can be unforgiving, wellplaced shots are rewarded. Excellent use of terrain, creeks, ravines, hills & cliffs. Multiple creative pins that should be but aren't identified at the tee. This course requires good shoes & hiker's fitness. Highly recommend as the memory of this course will stick with you."

"Tee pads are only like 2ft wide. But really cool course"
Aug 16, 2019
"I love this course but right now things are confusing. Holes 14 and 15 weren't in and we didn't know until after we started the holes. Would be nice to have some sort of update on layout when you come to play."

"Amazing elevation! Nice, technical shots. Very fun course to play. "

"Wear good hiking shoes"

"If you don’t know the course and have a pinpoint 300ft shot. Stay home. You never know what basket is in place. Advertised as 8$ but it’s 10$"

"Super confusing pin positions, hole maps would help a lot."
Aug 17, 2018
"Great hole design, very raw course. Tiring for even the most physically fit. Lost disc potential is high on every hole, fairways and rough is extremely dense and discs have a tendency to roll down the mountain."
