"Downwind from sewage treatment plant, smelled pretty bad most of the round. Technical lines make it challenging. Tees are unusual plastic/rubber but not bad."

"Was told by a ODNR Park Ranger today (10/17/20) that the course is closed due to the construction of the new Hocking Hills State Park Lodge and will not open until it is completed, sometime around October 2022... "

"This is a solid course with elevation change on every hole, some holes pretty extreme. I recommend this wooded hilly course to anyone up for a challenge. Plenty of hiking and neat stuff to see in this area from waterfalls to cool caves if you are looking for a get away. "

"This is the toughest course I've ever played. Also one of the coolest. Got my first UDisc recorded triple bogey. Wear good shoes. Insane elevation changes. "

"Having only been playing for 3 months, I like the course layout. The terrain was a challenge but also not much ground cover so losing discs was not a concern. Some of the hills are very steep. It could definitely use a bridge across the stream bed on hole 9. Signage is good and tee pads easy to find."

"Overly "technical", meaning too many <bleep>ing trees. There is not a single hole without an abundance of trees. CAUTION, you may need to create a scorecard before you come to the course. No one was able to get a connection."

"Awesome, beautiful course. Tee pads are incredible for where they are placed. Fair pars, and fun! The only problem I witnessed is hikers/families getting confused on the whispering cave entry trail. Many people leaked on to the course when they saw our trails between basket and tee pad. Maybe just a simple "warning, disc golf" sign would solve this. Overall, unbelievable amount of work went in to this course. Make the trip."

"ONLY front 9 is open. Park near the entrance of the parking lot for the lodge, and across the service road. Old hole 2 is now hole 1. There will be signage."
