"A good technical course for the amount of space they had to use. I would NOT recommend using a cart as most paths are hard enough to traverse with a backpack. Tee boxes are a little tight in certain areas, but give plenty of room for what’s required of the shots. Seems like the Blue tees are a new addition to the course and have not yet been put on UDisc. A bit hard to find on some of the holes. Overall, a fun course to explore if ever in the area. "

"It is a fun course with several very unique holes. However, it screams "home built" & "hazardous", especially with it being a "pay to play" course. Annoyingly small & inconsistent tee boxes, many man-made trip hazards on walkways and bridges, plus one very dangerous elevated tee box. It's built on the lowest portion of the property w/a creek running thru it so expect it to be soggy even after 5 days without rain."

"Great course with a lot of twists and turns definitely worth the money and becoming a member! You will have a lot of fun they have some really deeply turning right and left some beautiful scenery."

"Private/members only course. Except during the weekdays non members can pay $5 green fees. Most holes are short drives, but very technical and a lot of fun. Beautiful property and very well kept. "

"Wow. Played this for the first time a couple weeks ago (White Tees) and it was truly a blast. It is not a difficult course at all, but that doesn’t mean it is not great. Very creative course design. Beautiful property. Fun (and very beautifully large) Teepads. Since I’ve played here, I’ve told all my friends about it and I’ve thought about it a lot. I cannot wait until I can be back again. (The person I talked to about paying was incredibly kind and helpful and excited to share the course)"

"My first time here was 5/17/2022. Once I figured out how to access the course and get around, I was impressed with the location and layout of this place. Also very near my home. The course was extremely unique. If you missed the fairway on many of the holes the rough was pretty unforgiving. Luckily I didn’t get in the rough a lot. I am a lefty and found that the course favored southpaws ever so slightly. True Timber does custom unique landscaping which is showcased throughout the course"

"For a pay to play course the fairway’s are not maintained at all. there are dead trees leaning over fairways everywhere which is going to hurt someone. Back nine is more of a throw and pray your disc makes its own line. Not a bad course in general but not worth pay to play. "

"What a neat and unique course this is! I particularly enjoyed the signage at the tee pads that talked about local railroad history as well as the native flora and fauna. Thankfully I had the course to myself so I took my time reading all of them. As far as gameplay - only a handful of tee shots are easy. The rest require considerable shot shaping. Fairways are not generous. It's absolutely worth checking out, but as a relatively new player, it was a reality check for sure. "

"It’s pay to play so I’m super particular in my review. This would be a solid five Stars if I could find the drop zone on 17. It’s not marked well enough. Walk way on hole one can’t handle a large person. It gave out and I feel 10 ft down. Last, there isn’t a good way for a large person to from hole 11 to tee 12. Required me to back track. Need a better path across the creek. Will 100% be back. Best baskets and tees in RVA. Great great great holes. Just being nit picky since it’s pay to play. "

Best pads of any richmond course, tee signs are awesome and informative for not only the course but for the nature setting as well as historical info of the property. Not a big fan of this membership system, but whatevs. "

"Really fun course! It has great new baskets (chainstar pro's) and a good mix of elevated pins. It can get wet if it rains a lot but once all the tee pads are in it will be playable whenever. Come out and support these guys they have done a ton of good work! It's definitely unique to the rest of the Richmond courses!"
