"As a beginner to disc golf, this course does have a lot of elevation and being mostly wooded…of course trees. With that said, the woods is kept and there is not a lot of overgrowth. Challenging (for beginners), but a super fun course! Highly recommend. The elevated baskets are dope!"

"Hole design is great unfortunately some markers are missing to let you know where the next hole is. Some Blue tee pads are overgrown and the entire course is awfully muddy. Bring a few discs you can afford to lose and some beat up shoes."

"Pretty course, but hard. Pars don't seem to be what is average, but rather what is possible. Some of the lines in the trees demand perfection or bust. Probably even more difficult once there are leaves on the trees. Portopotty in the parking lot. A few trashcans on front 9 but die off after that. Next hole location not always clearly defined. "

"It seemed as if all of the tea pad markers said the PIN was closer than it appeared. It could have just been the immense woods surrounding every hole. Suffice it to say, The Woodsman is ain incredibly fun, unique, challenging, and satisfying course to play. Highly recommend it in the fall. Summer, however, has potential to be nothing but a struggle-bus marathon- start to finish. Marshall Park, I thank you for the experience! "
