"Love the country club vibes "

"The holes were kinda on top of each other. 27 holes can probably be cut down to 21 so you wouldn’t have to walk in front of peoples shots or get in the way a little bit. There will be a basket right next to a tee pad which is really awkward. It’s an okay course though, some short ones, couple decent length ones, I didn’t play every hole. they need to really maintain it though the high grass is so thick you will easily lose a disc, like I did today.."

"Great technical course. Lots of holes from 290-320ft that require low ceiling different shaped shots. Giant oak trees overhang most holes. The few par fours are all birdie opportunities but only a couple of the par 3s are easy. Not as penalizing as a full woods course but you still have to hit your lines. One of the best courses in Illinois if you ask me."

"First time playing there today and the Oaks definitely lives up to the hype. Beautiful property of old oak trees and shots that really challenge your shot arsenal. The course is extremely clean and signage is excellent. Each main basket has a sign on it pointing towards the next tee, and the next tee is never that far away anyway. Definitely going to make the trip back to play here again "

"Honestly, this course is fantastic! I’m visiting Illinois for a few weeks on a work trip and I’m glad I’m only 15 minutes away. Seems like I came at the perfect time of the year and I’ve come out here 3-4 times a week. Great shade from the sun, yet still is open enough not to feel claustrophobic on drives like some difficult wooded courses can get. All the signs are pretty dang accurate and the course is well kept. Plus, solid benches and trash cans at almost every single teepad. Major bonus! A+"

"Just a great course and layout. Not one dimensional as it offers solid bombers mixed in with some tunnel shots that will test your roller game. It’s my most played course and the distinction of the course that a round was cut short because Jason Collins needed some delicious ground beef. If you get off the fairway, expect burs. I mean up-the-dupa amount of burs. "

"Very nicely cut and edged fairways. Recently, the tee pads were pushed back from original position, altering the ideal lie to get up the fairway and ultimately making each hole more difficult. The average player would be heavily challenged with the versatility of the course overall, and straight-forward, yet demanding layout of fairways. Much of the course alludes, as it appears easy, but requires more considerable approach. Lots of fun, and a true challenge! "
