Caution
Hazards are heavily overgrown, please be careful when you don’t land in the fairway.
Brand new championship level course on an old ball golf course. Lots of long drives, water carries, and OB to watch out for. Bring extra discs because you’ll be sure to lose at least one with all the water.
Limited parking in gravel lot by Kiosk. If gravel is full park by the playground/baseball
field.

There are no signs or tees anywhere. And hope you want to be eaten alive by mosquitoes

Sunset Lakes is a very well-designed and fun course, probably better for more skilled players. I would recommend this course for anyone who throws over 400 feet consistently and enjoys risk vs reward shots that occur because of the tightly lined OB. If concrete teepads are installed and signage is greatly improved, Sunset Lakes would rival or even overtake the best courses in the St. Louis area. The course would also be better if a couple holes trimmed the OB lines wider, the green hole 10 for example.

Completely worthless for anything other than tournament play. Spotting necessary for almost every tee shot, even the red tees.
