Caution
Hurricane five days ago has made a mess of the entire course. Especially the paths between holes are practically impassable.

About the course
Parking is next to the tennis courts. Hole 1 tee pad is just behind the practice basket. Blue Tees are longer than White Tees. All 19 holes are in… (signage and Tee pads are now done. Side note the trail between 13/14 has just recently been put in. Orange tape should keep you on the path. . Ty to the Sneads Ferry Rotary and Onslow County Parks for funding tee pads and signage. Helpful tips for navigating the course. Hole 1 is right near / behind the Practice Basket. Hole 6/7 transition - after completing 6 go left then turn right. Be careful and look right. There may be players teeing off. The blue / long natural tee pad is across the bridge. After playing 10 turn right and go about 75 feet and you’ll see a tee sign and the markers for 11’s tee pad. Hole 12/13 transition - after finishing 12 use the walking trail by turning to the right and then a quick left… enjoy nature and turn right into 13’s teeing area Hole 13/14 transition - here’s your chance to use the Restroom if needed. Hole 16 - this hole has a natural teepad (you will / should see) by the right field foul pole of the softball field. Play it and either come straight back and play 17 or (hopefully the trail will be cut in soon to come up behind 17 blu / long teepad) Hole 17 to 40 look right from facing the basket and walk onto the park road. Turn left and follow it approx 100 feet. It’s in the ball field side of the road and is part of the T40 layout. 18 is by the blue PA shack / Flag Pole. I know there are a few hikes. There is plans for some future holes getting lengthened. but these are perfect times to appreciate not having to drive up to Jacksonville or down to Wilmington to get 18 holes in) “If you don’t have a good time… it’s your own dern fault!!!” Semper Frisbee! Do not come if it’s rained in last 7 days, if you do don’t play past hole 12 with shoes you care about.

This is a fine course. It's not a fun course. If your playing the whites you're going to take a lot of time searching for your teepads. There are long walks between holes. 13-14-15 you're walking through a swamp to get to your teepads. 17-18 you walk a quarter mile or so. Rough swallows up discs. The lines are fair, but miss your line and you might lose a disc.
