"Very nice course, definitely challenging. You have a lot of different shots. We unfortunately we only able to play 1-18. Starts in some deeps woods for a good bit of the front 9. Starts to open up, but cedar trees are grabby if you touch them. First timers from Michigan, we were lucky and had great locals who were nice enough to let us slow them down. Definitely worth our 40 minute drive from the hotel."

"Solid course, very difficult for new players (play from the yellow "novice" tees if you can't reliably throw 275- 300' with accuracy), rough is very very thick and it's easy to lose a disc, wouldn't recommend playing solo. "

"Great really - played it the first time today. Terrific upkeep, short grass, wide open fairways punctuated by some tight openings with workable rough around mature trees. Lots of signage navigating 3 undulating nine hole circuits. Lots of benches, often one at each tee pad. Tee pads due for an update. Writing review because I was led astray by an earlier negative one which didn’t correspond to anything I experienced."

Beginners and families will appreciate the much easier novice tees, while more advanced players will be challenged by the technical course design. The intelligent layout is also convenient for players who prefer to play fewer holes, or to replay sets of 9 if the energy is there!"

"Course is great built on beautiful piece of property. The only issue I had was hole 17 I was sent down into the brush trying to find the teepad. It's the only one where it's placed wrong and GPS sends you to the wrong location. Also, I played the whites 27 layout and teepads for whites are marked so making sure youre at the right place takes a few minutes. Some of the baskets don't have the number plates so making sure it's the correct basket can be a little difficult. Overall, good course. "

Most similar to an easier (but still challenging) version of Hornets Nest. I agree with previous reviews that a re-organization m from 27 to 18 holes with a less chaotic design may improve the course. I’d only add that this course has potential for becoming a destination/championship-caliber course; Seneca creek is a diamond in the rough."

"I want to rate this a 4, but could not convince myself to do it. I love the effort that went into this course and can see how experienced players can enjoy the tight lines. I did enjoy my time on the course. There is need for new baskets, better signage, and I actually think going back to 18 good holes instead of 27 holes that criss cross at times. I agree with the other reviews, go with two good tee pads, a static long basket, and alternate the shorts to mids. Maybe crowd fund new baskets."

"Not great really. Course design is pretty good for an experienced player, but upkeep is pretty poor. Beginner beware though. Fairways are tight and the ones by the creek have gotten unkempt, teepads are uneven and likely to cause rolled ankles. Benches, while they exist, are sometimes half rotted planks of wood on cinderblocks. There is no water available anywhere near the course so if you don't bring any you might as well turn around. Baskets are OK, older but workable. Sinage is also OK."

"If you like generous fairways, look elsewhere. Two to three baskets on each hole, all with same color flag. And enough close flags for other holes that you have to guess which on your drive (if you can see any flags). No GPS map for at least two of the abundant overlapping layouts. I think it tries to accommodate too many skill levels and compromises too much clarity for all. "

"Course is absolutely beautiful!! But the scenery isn't what the ratings about. This course was horrendously mismanaged. When you finish the majority of the holes there's nothing telling you where to go next and some of the holes are a 1 1/2 minute walk through the woods to the next tee so I got lost for 10-15 minutes 4 different times, and found myself giving directions to other lost people. None of the course is mapped on udisc. It should be an 18 and just a separate 9 for 10-18"

"This course has been described as "the best course in MD" and given that people also say Scarborough Hills is equally good, I was skeptical. However, this course lives up to the hype. The teepads are good, signage good, basket placement is good and it changes. The grounds are kept really well, not much underbrush to lose discs, either! The layout is done really well for novice to advanced players. My only gripe would be: Paint the teepads their corresponding color. "

"First thing is I’d like to thank Mr. Bill for all his hard work making the course look beautiful. He’s amazing. The course needs new baskets. The park should be able to do that and I don’t see why it hasn’t happened. There should be two pins on every hole possible, there are six at the moment. The long locations should always be available like at Patapsco. Always have Seneca’s monster on display. Then move the short baskets around. "
