Might be smart to bring a few discs you could stand to lose for the shots over and near the river(it happens). Course needs TLC, the Mach 3 (1988) baskets are dead, they don't catch real putts, you have to fluff them, which sucks. The chainstars are decent but old too. Tees and signage could be better. Definitely a wet muddy course but still fun and can teach you a lot. "

"One of the better tracks in the area, but not really my favorite choice for a couple reasons. 1) It gets flooded out very easily and stays soggy forever 2) Lots of native grass/unkept areas to lose discs 3) Lots of bugs, thorn bushes, poison ivy and other not so fun nature That being said, it’s still a fun challenge with interesting terrain and many different shots needed. Definitely gets a bonus for having 27 unique holes."

"The course is not maintained after around hole 18. Easy to lose a disc. After hole 18 the course look abandoned. A lot of the holes don't have marker. This course I would not recommend. "

"Very technical wooded course that is somehow pretty playable. If you’re looking to challenge yourself and throw accurate shots in the woods I couldn’t recommend River Bends more. Only downside is the baskets, which are technologically obsolete and the reason I didn’t rate the course 5. "

"Decently designed, but I'm not a fan of how close you have to get to pedestrian walkways and how close some tees/baskets are to each other. The udisc map isn't well updated and even with it I was getting turned around. The rough is also very brutal so place your shots well."

"Great technical course, lots of control shots needed. New players like me will be searching for their discs in the rough. Hole 10 is downhill and to the left for new players. UDisc isn’t correct for several holes. Overall great course but beginners be wary. "

"Bad timing on my part. I came after what must have been the monsoon season. Almost every hole had water hazard or mud, side of fairway. In the fairway, etc. you get the point. As far as the track itself, almost all holes had a straight, slightly hyser or slightly anny, with few exceptions. It's a good time any time playing DG but this round wasn't the best. With the exception of a couple of holes it was easy to follow the course. Those couple of holes were missing the # and distance post. "

"One of my favorite courses in the area. It is extremely wooded, with tunnel shots and heavily wooded rough. Lots of long straight shots. Im a begginer and am not intimidated by it. Major warning about bug spray being needed and if there was heavy rain, assume it's under water here. "

"Unkept at the moment for the start of the summer season. The fairways are wildly narrower than intended, and everywhere outside of the fairway is overgrown so it's impossible to find a disc that you threw even a couple feet off the fairway. Definitely needs maintenance at the moment."

I’d say this course is definitely worth a play, you might really like it, there are some really fun holes. "
