"Sometimes parking isn’t free and sometimes the gates are closed for a few of the holes. It’s also a public park so sometimes people are doing other activities (perhaps unknowingly) in the middle of the lanes. "

"Open course on the comal river. Nothing too challenging but the option to jump in the river makes it top notch in my opinion "

"Basket 9 is within 10 feet of parked cars and damaged, basket 6 damaged, cars along 5 also get hit by throwers. Benches on the fairway of 4 that people use. Especially in the summer, be aware of groups walking through holes 2, 8, sometimes 6. Really what it comes down to is it’s not a space truly dedicated to disc, so part of choosing to throw here is understanding that if it’s busy you’ll be dealing with pedestrian traffic and nearby cars, which may or may not hinder your ability to throw."

"A bit of a generous 3 stars. Short course that’s beginner friendly. Some wooded holes. However, the 18 hole layout is very, very poorly designed. There are several holes where you’re either throwing over parked cars, or throwing your disc at a basket right next to parked cars. This took some fun out of the course for me. Not that this is the courses fault, but there was wind while I played which made throwing over/at cars way scarier. This course has potential but I wouldn’t play it again"

"I’m a beginner, so I like practicing here. That said, it’s a bit scary because of all the cars parked along the course and the people picnicking on the fairways. "

"Love my local 9 hole. Compared to other courses it's not special but offers a great mix of wide open holes, low ceiling tunnels, water hazards and opportunities to test all types of throws. Lots of people hazards during the summer season though!"

"This course is only actually a 9 hole, the back 9 is a safari layout. The course isn't bad, mostly a beginner course."

"Great course, a little soft today. Seems like a really great place for families with young kids to learn to play in the hall. I hear though in the summer this is the course not to come to because of the tourism in the area"

"3 stars because it’s usually mowed, 2 will be under construction for a long time it seems. Some good short holes that any skill level could ace. I hate #8. Plenty of clueless tubers walking right through the fairways. "

"Played a putter round while on a trip here, was a pretty fun and mostly open course just to get some solid practice in. Tubers and others mostly stay off of the fairways which is nice."

"Sprinklers were a hassle. I could not figure out 10-18. Parking was $20 and they had the watch dog out "

"Yes, there is cars but…the course is fun and does make shots harder with cars being parked close by. That is why road and beyond throughout the course is OB. It takes skill to make those approach shots. I know bc I’m a local player. If you’d like to play with less cars. "9 hole basic course"

"Overall really nice course! Nice open fairways, a couple tight squeezes. Great place to learn the game. A few tee boxes need to be leveled out, but nothing too bad. Only down side is the course is sandwiched between the river and Schlitterbahn, so it’s pretty busy, and parking at the park is $20. Highly recommend parking downtown New Braunfels and walking across the bridge"

"Very first course and almost made par right off the bat. Be careful of the tourists that WILL walk thru your match. 9 holes but you can play a quick 18. Parking has a fee if before 5pm in the summer."
