About the Course
Championship caliber course located near downtown Atlanta in a 50-acre city park. Perkerson Park is one of metro Atlanta's most scenic, most challenging and longest length courses with three par 4's and a par 5. Plays through a mature hardwood forest and along a rock-lined stream with hilly terrain. Dual teepads on all but one hole. Every teepad has its own sign. The Short teepads (Red) cater to Recreational and Intermediate skill levels and the Long teepads (Black) cater to Advanced and Professional skill levels. Fairly navigable directions without using the map but there are a few long transitions across the bridges over the creek due to stream buffer between Holes 4 & 5 and then again between Holes 14 & 15. There are Red & Yellow "Next Tee" signs posted on trees in plain view from each basket. The course is located on Deckner Ave. Park in the lower gravel lot off the 2nd park entrance. From the gravel lot, walk down the right side of the creek about 300' to the Course Information Kiosk. There is a QR Code on the Information board that has the current layout if UDisc is not updated. The practice basket is located behind Hole 1's Short teepad; Hole 1's Long teepad is accessed by a stone step trail that heads up the hill a few yards beyond the Course Information Kiosk and tees off from on top of the cliff.

"Great course layout. Lots of fun holes. Just needs litter maintenance. "

"Loved some of the holes. Provided good challenge. Don’t care for holes that loop back on each other but that only complaint. Good variety of shot selection as well. Elevation used well."

"It grows on you the more you play it. A few tee pads need some TLC, but otherwise a very fun course."
