Better signage would be nice if it weren’t for UDisc I would of been lost on about 5 holes. Amazing course otherwise.

This course has serious potential but needs a lot of work. Starting with the bad. Yes there’s glass everywhere it’s an old abandoned town. The fairways are clear but some of the lines on the longer holes are non-existent and require more luck than skill hitting your lines. If you get off the path from a tree kick, good luck scrambling back out to save par. And the biggest issue is the layout. The signage is just terrible and the holes zig zag back and fourth over top of each other which makes playing quick and efficient impossible without stopping to look at UDisc. Finally the parking situation is pretty rough since there’s not a designated lot.
Now the good, the scenery is really cool with it being an old mining town there’s a lot of history in the area. Holes A-I are crazy fun holes but they are also the only ones that give you truly defined lines. The teepads are great. Yes some go uphill or downhill but they’re not your standard concrete so even better. With a little help, this could easily contend for the one of the best courses in the state of Michigan even being in the UP.
