Great course for recreational and championship level play. Redesigned by John Houck not too long ago but some of his new designwas altered — not sure how much. The original layout of the course was on of the first 10 courses John Houck designed.

"Lots of poison ivy immediately off fairways. No clean shots if off the narrow fairways. Lots of thorns.... It follows a creek on most holes so you are walking on a slight to severe slant down fairways. Way over rated course for Austin area courses."
