Lots of trees down
-Update! As of May 7th, 2021. Course has grown in well over the past few seasons. The mulch is starting to compost and the grass is really beginning to grow in. Might even need a mow soon!
Keep telling your friends to pick up sticks while you play.
Turning into a really beautiful 9 hole course
The holes are oriented really well but still beware of others using the park.
— Update! As of June 14th, 2020 there are now signs at each new tee box. W/r/t comment #7 - get in touch with Rutland Town Recreation, who we’ve been working with and has been very receptive. Your feedback, knowledge, and volunteer help would be awesome and timely as we put the final touches in place this summer/fall. —

Clean fill, bull dozed, wooded wasteland dirt pile.
Course is still in development. Note that this is a former logging site, so set expectations accordingly as volunteers work to clean up the park trails, and establish the new, free disc golf course.

"The course itself is fun, some interesting turns and obstacles. Just most of the fairways are lined with pricker bushes and even poison ivy in some spots. Bring long pants for sure. If they get someone to clear out that brush it will be a 4 star course for sure. "
