Good Conditions
The journey of disc golf at Northwood Park began in 2002 when Greg Nettles first designed and built the original Northwood course. Northwood Park was the original host of the Ledgestone Open and played host to the 2019 World Championships when the course was turned into the Gold layout. The Gold course has since been removed bringing back some of the original holes and bringing on a second course (Black). With the original holes coming back into play, several new holes were added which created the Blue course, which features many of the original holes. This course has a good variety of holes including woods golf, orchard style holes, open shots and plenty of elevation changes.

"Stunningly beautiful. Difficult right fairways that utilize a variety of throws. I took birdies and a triple bogey. Really fun!"

"Beautiful and very challenging but also incredibly fun course. Lots of stark elevation variation through dense woods and many holes play around some deep crags in the hills. Lines are very well thoughtfully through the trees and hills. Not for complete beginners but also quite approachable for intermediate players such as myself as long as you have good spotting (or play in the winter)."
