Good Conditions
The vision for a Black level, championship course at Northwood Park came about after the 2019 Pro Worlds event. With the help of the Morton Park District and many volunteer hours, this new course was created to be the hardest disc golf course in the world. Northwood Black measures out to be nearly 2 miles long from the long pads. This course debuted at the 2021 Ledgestone Open. Scoring an even par on this course will signify a round rating of 1020 to 1025. Play this course at your own risk!

"Design is insanely difficult but fair. Absolutely love the challenge it presents. However the overgrowth and upkeep is terrible for a course that is considered world-class. Hole 17 is a solid disc golf hole, however it felt like an old part of the course that is no longer in use, especially around the green, for example. "

"Amazing, but every shot is a challenge. Beautiful course and layout."

"Hardest course you’ll play. It’s brutal. You’ll be tested on every shot. I’ll never do it again. I loved it. "
