Very beautiful. Lame when it's setup with mostly A pins. Course plays amazing from the short pads to the C and or D pins. Course plays pretty crap from the long pads unless the pins are short. The golf lines just aren't there from the long pads

Seriously the best course around the STL area in my opinion.. Only gripe I could have would be the ticks are crazy bad right now..

While there are some fun holes, new melle is one of the most overrated courses I’ve played. The property is 10/10 but the design that’s in place just reeks of missed opportunities. The icing on top of the cake here is the amount of tremendously uphill teepads that make the odd shot shapes on holes like 8 & 11 even more unenjoyable to throw. This isn’t even close to a top 5 course in Missouri.

Love the length, scenery, and property overall. Fun course to play if you aren’t off the fairways in the poison ivy too much. Overall feels like the property is 10/10 even for prior golf courses but the course design leaves something to be desired. Some holes are home runs but overall it’s a bit of an advanced design, not professional. Prepare for a 3.5 mile hike if you’re playing the blues.
