First hole, that bend to the left, is a poison ivy forest. Be careful

The course design is very nice. Some of the holes require well-shaped shots, while others allow for creativity/freedom to shape the shot. I felt the par on each whole is more Intermediate-level-oriented. Many of the 400+ foot holes felt like they should’ve been par 4s instead of 3s. Aside from the pars and the prairies, no complaints

That grass is brutal. Disc down and stay in the fairways.

Not sure what's been the cause of the critical reviews. This course is in great condition with neatly mowed fairways and OB long grass which is a FEATURE! There is a nice blend of shot shapes and elevation change making this a really fun, challenging course in the middle of Illinois. If you're passing through its definitely worth a play!
