"Beautiful, hilly, retro course. This course is maintained by the local community. Challenging enough for expert throwers but forgiving enough for new players. Sometimes called the "little brother" to Hickory Hills, bring your hiking shoes. Mostly cart-friendly, you may sometimes be presented with some challenges, and may need to portage'! This course is shared with hikers so keep a sharp eye. "

"It’s pretty solid with a good variety of shots like flat/hilly and wooded/open. I would take points away due to tricky navigation at times and not elite fun I’ve come to expect in the area. Would play again but not drive to it. "

"Loved this course good mix of challenging par 3’s to short easy par 3’s. Played it with my brother and we both loved it. Coming from Ohio the hills where a struggle but nothing like Hickory Hills, wow!! UDisc made it easy to navigate but without UDisc we may still be looking for hole 1’s tee. Definitely will play again when I come back to the area!!"

"Played the first 5 holes and could tell that this course is quite an experience. Lots of up and downhill walking and I couldnt tucker myself out on a friday evening with a big weekend ahead of me. Great lines. Awesome layout. Could be mowed better but its a diamond in the rough is exactly what it is"

Hats off to getting massive machinery up into the hill to clear and wood chip…dayham! Makes the course playable rather than “let’s go throw our discs in the woods and hope for the best” kinda course"

"Have not played here in a long time, Can’t believe all the tree they took out!!! Always fun and on the top of my list when I’m up north. New wraps on the basket pole would be nice."

"Nice course with great use of elevation and landscape! Very hilly but manageable( could be slippery when raining!) Excellent signage and tee pads! Tough for beginners or those like myself who are average players (but that is the challenge of playing a course like this!) Go play and have fun with this beautiful northern Michigan disc course!"

"This is a little gem of a course. The wooded holes have recently been cleared/cleaned, offering a good variety of shot shapes and scramble challenges in a beautiful setting. Well layed out and easy to follow. It's a must-play IMO if you're in the area!"

"Tight, fun, but very unforgiving course. Rather difficult for new players. Roughs are very rough, mostly thorny raspberry bushes and dense shrubs. Good tees and well marked holes. Hardest tee to find is tee 1"

"Well designed. The first couple of holes are wide open. So it is forgiving as you warm up. Then it’s into the forest where are you are rewarded for good lines and punished if you miss them. "

"June 10, 2019: A lot of fallen trees kind of made it look ratty. Otherwise, it was just Okay. It reminds me a lot of three rivers courses throwing from hill to hill. Good variety of shots, unforgiving woods."
