"Course uses elevation very well. Beginning is a lot of open RHBH hiesers so you need a couple stable putters, fairways and distance drivers. Course has some very photogenic pin placements and fairways. It’s nicely located within a half hour of the airport so it’s a nice course to take a smaller bag of discs to and play while waiting for someone at the airport. I was solo and don’t think I’ve played a course where people let you play through so easily. Great time at this course all around. "

"Just moved to IL from MI. This was the first course I played. Enjoyed it. I like the pads, the hole lengths, and the layout was easy to understand. The course was well kept it seemed too. A couple "cons" in my opinion is all the taller grass. Not used to it. Made it difficult to find my disc's. The sudden slopes so near fairways and baskets made par challenging at some holes. Over all, good course. "

"Decent links style course adjacent to a reservoir but front 9 were a bit busy at 1:30pm on the last warm Saturday in October. Course is designed around a large hill with an alternate rubber tee box for several holes on the back nine at very top. Can be windy and the alternate pins and tees boxes seem a bit much but hard to lose discs and overall a beautifully maintained and really fun course for all skill levels. There were a couple holes under 200’ and and most baskets are Par 3."

"This one’s a black diamond. You need to be very good, very conservative, or very patient to enjoy it. The grass and other plants in the rough are very long and thick, easy to lose frisbees in. The real danger, especially for lefties, is the sharply declining slopes of rough that most of the fairways sit on top of, so if you botch a hard drive, it can travel a long, long way. You also get no protection from the wind because of the elevation."
