Long story short: not worth $20, horribly maintained, underwhelming views Driveway down to parking lot is horrible and there is no warning of the terrain. We were lucky we were in a bigger vehicle. I think Art was trying to be friendly, but his quizzes and insistence that we leave a positive review about the course and him was really off-putting. It was also mentioned that if the owner showed up and people were not following course rules, the owner might “yell and curse” at people. Not sure if that’s true, but really weird to threaten customers for no reason. Having a golf cart was nice, but the cart path was really poorly maintained. We played course A. It wasn’t super hard to navigate with the UDisc course map pulled up, but the signage wasn’t great. About 2/3 of the holes were short, dinky holes. The other 1/3 were par 4s. Not a lot of shot variation. The course was so poorly maintained we encountered several sets of deer remains (skulls with fur still on it, multiple spines, and misc leg/arm bones) on the fairways. I won’t blame the owner for the condition of the grass/vegetation because of the drought, but there is plenty to be fixed on the course that doesn’t require water consumption. There were also kids (who were not playing disc golf) riding around the course in their family’s golf cart. And the course only has one employee, so all the signs that say “members and paying guests only” were basically unenforceable. The course has potential, but as it is right now, it seems like the owner doesn’t care about disc golf and is just in it to make money by charging a ridiculous amount to play the course.

Art is the man. He is awesome and spectacular. Superhuman. Amazing. Otherworldly. Unparalleled enthusiasm. Course was great. Needs some maintenance but overall awesome. The road to the clubhouse needs to be repaved. We will be back!

Pros: - Both of the courses are beautiful, the area is amazing and the scenery can’t be beaten. - Each course offers its own type of play style. Course A is a bit more technical of a course with some low ceilings, with a few harder par 3s and some shorter challenging par 4s; makes you think a little more about which disc to pull out of the bag. While course B offers more open “bomber” shots, starting with the only par 5 being an epic 800’ shot from the top of a hill, and leading into some longer par 3s. - The golf carts save you a ton of walking and are basically a necessity, which gives it a genuine “golf” feeling on the course. -the signage at the tees were in good shape, and easily legible. -Art was a pretty decent guy, and made sure our carts were filled up with gas and offered cold water before and between rounds. -The greens on course A were in good shape, and the baskets on both courses were in good condition. Cons: -The driveway at the entrance is in HORRIBLE condition, and I would not recommend trying to make it down there unless you have some sort of truck or SUV. This is a huge problem as there seemingly wasent any other parking close to the check in area. - course B needs a lot of maintence as far as upkeep goes. Though it was a fun course, a lot of areas were overgrown with weeds. - Some of the cart paths were also in disrepair and had some spots with large branches and hedges blocking you from staying on the path. -some of the tees were muddy, even though it rained it would have been nice to have “real” tee pads put in for the tees that were off the path. The ones off the path weren’t flattened, and honestly weren’t the best as far as footing goes. Overall, this place is truly a disc golf experience you won’t find anywhere in this area and it helps make up for a lot of the down sides of the property. The courses are fun, there’s a pro and short tee available on both courses letting you have a TON of variety to play. Leaving the carts on the path was not that hard of a thing to do, and frankly it makes sense that they want to preserve their fairways so I don’t see it as a problem. The carts worked fine, though a little old and a bit dirty. The property itself was gorgeous, plenty of deer and other wild life along with the amazing views of the lake and surrounding area; just made it an overall awesome experience. With a little bit of work on the side of ownership and staff, this place could seriously be a top disc golf course and I would recommend checking it out.

Course is on the longer side over all for the area. A lot of bombs to be had. Art is the grounds keeper, and he will take very good care of you.

Pros: Really good lay out. Lots of elevation and variety. Great views. Cons: when we came back after the round, dg staff locked my car in their gated parking area. Had to call golf course staff to get in and unlock it.

A lot of fun with golf carts (an absolute necessity for this course). My friends and I played both A and B courses and had a blast. Bring a truck or SUV for the driveway down. Art (the Marshal) is a super nice and hilarious guy who made sure we had gas in our carts and water before we took off for the day. Worth playing. Course could use a little mowing.

Art was fantastic! Really enjoyed talking with him! The B course was a lot of fun. Open shots but challenging because of the elevation changes. Go slow on the road. The city really needs to do the course a favor and fix the road so that access is easier but that is not the fault of the course. Look forward to going back!
