About the course
3/21/23 Holes 11 and 18 have two permanent baskets in play. You can play short pin or Gold pin. La Vista is located in a beautiful 90+ acre park on the Mississippi River bluffs. It’s a quiet, calm, and great place to lose your mind and find your soul while playing a round of Disc Golf or just enjoying the scenery. The course is full of rolling hills and is approximately 2/3 open and 1/3 wooded. The majority of the open holes have greens tucked just inside the wood line or deeper. Most of the greens are on a sloped terrain but typically won’t result in anything more then a 15’ comeback putt if you miss your first putt. Several of the baskets are blind because of distance and or the lay of the land but the maps on the tee sign are great for determining pin location. The course features 3 sets of tee pads (white and blues are concrete, while reds are natural) and 3 pin placements on most holes. Park Department is in the process of building permanent bathrooms but has a Porta potty on site. The wooded holes are hilly and range from 200-420’ with tight lines and a few protected baskets. The open holes are 300-750’ and utilize the wood line to provide more of a challenge or are pushed back into the woods 150-200’ for the C pin placements. As for types of shots, the course is balanced and doesn’t show any favoritism for one type of player/shot over the other. The white tee pads have a map on each tee sign while the reds and blue tee sign show distance and par. The course has a great flow and uses arrows as well as numbered signs to help get you to the next tee. We tried to minimize walking back out of the hole with trails going to the next tee but there are a couple greens that require it (2, 4, & 8). This course will test every level of player while utilizing all the disc in your bag. Check out Bluff City Disc Golf page on FB for more info.

One of the best courses in the St. Louis area! Three pads and multiple pin positions makes this a challenging course for even the best players. Love how the course mixes between open and wooded holes. The course requires you to throw your entire bag.

This course is amazing! I’m having a lot of trouble finding flaws. It’s got a good mix of flick/backhand shots, par 3s and 4s and good elevation changes. Tee signs are good, good directional arrows, and good teepads/baskets! It’s not the prettiest course but it is a lot of fun and pretty difficult.

Spectacular course! Has a mix of wooded holes with elevation changes and big bombers out in the open. Course has a great flow and is easy to follow. The front 9 are mostly wooded and can be punishing if you get off the fairway. The back is mostly open with lots of distance and the baskets sit just in or along the wood line. This course is great for all skill levels with 3 sets of tees and 3 pins on most holes. Beautiful park on Mississippi River Bluffs!
