"Nice course but it’s easy to be looking for your disc for a solid 10 minutes. "

"Not too forgiving. Some really tight fairways flanked by thorns. Don't miss your line. Mostly all super straight or rhbh shots fading to the left. The next teepads aren't clearly marked on baskets, and signage is showing its age. No benches. Well kept currently, but could see summer folaige making some holes very hard. Other holes are wide open. Need to play this more to gauge it properly, but there wasn't really any signature holes to make me come back here vs other courses in the area. "

"Its an amazing course. Early sping is nice due to minimal foliage and minimal tall grasses. In summer and fall, I would recommend a throwing partner. It could use some trimming of deadwood on trees and also some poles with flags on hard to see baskets."

"Overall fun & challenging course. Front 9 more open and back 9 more wooded. However, fairways can be narrow and the rough is brutal. Be cautious of thorns, poison ivy, ticks. 3rd update: KSU does bare minimum course maintenance over summer. Rough is so overgrown that looking for a lost disc almost guarantees an encounter with ticks, p. Ivy or both. Already narrow fairways are even more so on certain holes over summer bc KSU leaves 1"-3' stretches unmowed. 4.5 star course w/ 2 star maintenance"

"Good course, just a little difficult for beginners as the holes are long and there are a lot of wooded holes. Very fun though. "

"Played the first 7 before it was unbearably hot. Very narrow gaps with punishing high grass. One of the members of the KSU Rec staff talked to us on our way out. Unfortunately due to budget cuts the fairways will likely remain narrow and punishing. They used to be very open with the rough being below knee height apparently. "

"May 7th: All looks good. No muddy spots I've watched this course develope from when it was first put in. It has definitely come a long way especially with clearing out some of that tall brush. Some more clearing could definitely be good because some of that stuff is impossible to find your disc in. Back 9 has been imporved massively in my opinion. "

"course is well marked for the most part. I’m a beginner and there are really hard but fun holes as well as open holes. Easy to lose disc if lacking contril"

"Very good course! Good mix of narrow and wide open holes. Good tee boxes and baskets. Only complaint is some spots can be muddy and in a few places the layout is confusing. A few more signs would easily fix this problem. Otherwise this course is a blast to play! "

"Good course that could be one of the best in NE Ohio. The only “next tee” signs were on holes 1 and 2 so make sure your phone is charged because you must use the GPS on this app (especially to find the strangely located 12th tee). There is no good place to park strategically. I recommend parking at the rec center, to the far left. You’ll have a fairly good walk to 1 but an equal from 18. Will def bring the homies out to play with me next time!"

"A hidden gem, great course"

"Coarse is well maintained that the greens are cut. But in at least the first half of the holes the fair way is about 20 feet wide, and in either side there are plants that are about 3-5 feet tall. So if you don't land on the fairway it's extremely hard to find your disc and you'll have a high chance of getting cut up on Thorn bushes and although I didn't see any poison ivy, I'm sure it's in there somewhere."

"The course needs to be little better maintained and has way too many pricker bushes."

"Practice before you come here, there is no practice basket. Front 7 has decent chance to lose in tall grass, so play safe shots. Back 9 is VERY tightly packed woods with narrow hallways. Signs are wildly inaccurate representations of said hole, so look ahead before you throw. 12 of 18 holes are blind. Overall a clean course that is set in a nice location without many people walking through. Just needs updating to the signs and some more clearing of foliage and will have a lot more potential!"
