"With Shore Acres as my home course, I naively thought I'd seen some elevation. This joint is ALL elevation! Severely misjudged hole 12, landed by the road. Barely made it back up the mountain without oxygen or a Sherpa. Thought I might have to bivy out for the night. Took 10 minutes to recover. Overall, super fun and humbling. Can't wait to come back!"

"Love Johnson-this is my home course. I learned disc golf here. Have played through 100+ times. A great course with a mix of challenging gaps, ace possibilities, open fairways for big drives, scary down hills, and beautifully wooded holes. The course is kept in good shape- there’s a John, benches every few holes, and trash cans that keep the course clean. Hole 18 is legendary and begs you to throw more than one disc. The course does play quick though. Best course within 10 miles of GR"

"In my opinion this is the best course in the Grand Rapids Area, this course is super focused on elevation, not many holes that play over 350 or so so if you have a lot of distance don’t expect to be throwing distance drivers off the tee every hole. You get lots of risky putts on this course that can be punishing. Some tricky lines but never down to luck, great tees, baskets, and signage. This course can get busy, so be careful when you go if you want to play quickly. Not very Cart friendly. "

"Lot of tricky brush on both sides demanding some accuracy with some throws on multiple holes. It's not hard to lose a disc on this course, but it finishes with a grand finale with a wide open throw from a tee box on top of a hill. Very beautiful course. Tip: even moderate days you'll want to bring water with you. "

"A nice and varied course which contains unique elevation challenges. Large portions were over grown. Some of the signs didn’t seem particularly accurate. Some of the basket locations seem needlessly punishing. For example, a friend missed a putt off the front of the basket and it rolled about 60 feet down a deep slope."
