"The course has extremely minimal sinage, extreme water hazards, no map, very technical, and was completely soaked, no way to get through the course with dry feet. Even the Udisc map is inaccurate. Also, expect to lose a disc or three"

"First time playing here. Neat course, just no signage at tee boxes. With that, I’d suggest relying on the app. Somewhat because some tee boxes are distant from the current hole you’re finishing and cross passed other fairways or are close to those fairways. Will be back!"

"Don’t go in the rough unless you like to encounter lots of banana spiders. Other than that it’s a good course. UDisc does a great job at navigating you through the course. "

"The course layout seemed fine, but never come here after it has rained at all. When I wasn’t in knee high grass, I was in slippery mud where I couldn’t get any footing"

"Very dissapointing. Very far from a 4 star course. I am shocked at the high rating of this course. Fairways are unkempt. Serious lack of signage was the glaring flaw. Course layout was hard to follow. Some hole designs were very good. Had they been better manicured, they would be quite fun. Other holes were basic and boring. Course was also waterlogged and muddy when I played. Not worth playing in the current state."

"This is the more popular of the two courses at Jack Brooks so it can be crowded at times. Starts off going in and out of woods. Then out in the open. Then finishes in the woods for last three holes. Might be best to have someone stand out in the open on hole 10 to spot discs that fly into the woods. I’ve spent 30 minutes there looking for a disc hiding in the thick tree canopy. Overall a very satisfying course. "

"Tried playing mid-day on July 29th for the first time. First, signage is very poor and it's hard to find next tees and to know where the baskets are. Udisc is essential for this info. There was some light rain this morning but it made a lot of fairways swampy and under the trees it was very muddy. The grass was knee high in the meadows, needs to be mowed. "

"Fun course. Tees are a combination of dirt/grass/concrete. Some holes have alt tees but the tee markers could use some love. Can be wet for a while after the rain and like anywhere else in Texas with a hot humid climate, there will be LOTS of mosquitoes. OFF deep woods seems to work pretty good though. "

"Love this course, one of my favorites in Houston. This course actually has two sets of 18 hole courses. This one has a lot of open shots once you get through the first 9. Where as the other has a ton of technical shots next to a river bank"

"This is a nice course with a 9 hole layout easy enough to navigate your first time. Baskets in good condition and tees in good condition for being dirt. There are alternate tees along the way that seem to be able to play a full 18, I would’ve drove myself mad trying to follow that course. Main on almost only drawback to this course is absolutely no benches or trash cans. Nice course though. "
