Ishpeming Al Quaal Rec Area

Some great shots and quality build but there is a ton of walking involved. Be prepared for a hike.

Good variety of long holes, mosquitos are quite irritating, not let go but a good bit overgrown.

Played blue tees, all the holes were good besides 10. 6 was a tough one but very manageable. But hole 10 you are throwing over tall grass and ferns so it's impossible to find your disc

Really enjoyed this course, this is definitely a good hike, bring some water.

This course is pretty long. You will be walking uphill and downhill a LOT. Features some super fun shots though. Front 9 is on a mountainside where ski slopes are your fairways. Rough is really rough. Chances to lose your disc are high especially on 6 and maybe even 10. Back 9 holes feel like really good disc golf holes compared to most of the front 9.

Decent shots but the layout is terrible. So much walking, lots of uphill as well.

This course was alright, it was mainly just baskets going down a cross country trail. Also, layout was wacky. You have to walk super far to get to the next tee sometimes. It was fun to play though!

Really great holes, fun to play. Back 9 needs signs to direct to next hole badly. Good luck finding 14

Front 9 longs are very demanding shots that punish if not hit. Back 9 provides relief with more open fairways but tests your distance especially with the last handful. Love the area it uses and the signage is great. Needs some extra indicators to lead to the next hole on a few.

Amazing course, one of the most beautiful in the Marquette area. Hole 10 is incredible.

Old 9 in the field is gone. Front 9 is in the woods behind the parking lot. Back 9 is unmarked but has baskets and the beginning of tee pads in. Hard to follow if you don't know where to go. The few baskets that are in the field are the last 4 holes of the back 9

Not really done yet, but I tried to add some red holes onto the map. I think I missed #6.

No signs

The layout is fine but it's a forgotten 9 hole. More fun to use the space and lack of players to get creative and play safari golf. Looking forward to the remake!

I thought the baskets were being updated in May? Good thing someone who was mowing told us were the baskets and tees were other wise you will throw to the wrong basket.

Fun quick little course

Very nice park and well kept. Baskets need repair or replacing with actual baskets. I counted a birdie attempt putt that hit just right of center pole and 2/3 down the chains...spit right back out at me. Any commercial basket would have caught that. Nice layout though, and enjoyed playing. This was empty, Old Town had groups of people waiting to start playing at #1, I’ll hit that one on the next vacation.

No signs up. Not easy to fallow, had to use app satellite to find the tees. Well mowed and manicured. Homemade baskets are not the best but ok.
