"Beautiful park, loved the technical wooded section, hole location hard to determine but I’m sure just a beginner to the course issue. Loved hole 12 who doesn’t like a tree octopus guardian. They were updating landscaping around tee boxes today, they put care into this place. Must visit if just for hole 12! I’ll be back!"

"The course has some interesting holes. There are some interesting features on the holes like the octopus guarding the basket. But that course definitely needs some upkeep some of the fairways you can lose your disc on."

"Nice course, open holes are nice with elevation, wooded holes can be narrow if there is a gap. Edit: it is my favorite course, the fall and spring are making it wonderful. It is a great test if your mental skills. However, that being said, it is not a beginner course but a wonderful course for some technical shots to learn and improve. But in the back 9 is mainly open drive time. On whole 10 I think, over the swamp, try throwing of the pond if you feel brave. "

"A 3 star that could easily be 4 or higher. Holes 3 through 12 are super fun wooded holes with tight ish but fair fairways. Good pads decent baskets. There's a warm up area for putting and throwing. The open holes, 1 and 2 and most of the last 6 just suck. Signage is bad, there is a lot of walking between holes, and again signage is just awful. 18 "main layout" has 18 way on other side from parking lot and you're left wondering why. Also, bathrooms near parking are absolutely disgusting. "

"Enjoyable, mostly wooded course. Fairways in the woods are challenging without being punishing. Only downside is that works between some holes are pretty long. Some indication on which path to take from some holes would be helpful."

"About 1/2 woods with a good mix of long and short holes. Well maintained, but easy to lose a disc, and you’ll need a map if you’ve never played here before. Good course!"

"One of my favorite 3 courses in the Chicago area. So many technical long shots through the woods. 11b is a little hard to find, so is the teepad for hole 20, but playing all 22 holes is a really great time!"

"Enjoyed the course. Starts open goes to heavily wooded then opens back up with some good pinch points. If you do 11a&b take the right path after 11b all the way back to where the sign splits you between 4 & 12. "

"This course is a well designed 20 hole course. Half wide open, half wooded with some very technical tunnel shots. I played alone, but if I were to play again I would definitely bring an extra set of eyes as the woods are DENSE. I couldn't locate baskets 11a and 11b, but 19 to the left of basket 18. There are brick pavers that line up a tunnel shot next to the tennis court. 20 plays straight across from 19 next to the pool, with the basket being across the parking lot and field."

"Good, varied course that’s pretty well kept. It’s easy to struggle here but if you concentrate and break some of the holes in pieces you’re rewarded. Also, Be ready to sink some long putts if you wanna score well. "

"A beginner here, but honestly this course is great. People rave about Lippold, but this course was personally more fun for me to play. It has a little bit of everything, and it is clear they are designing more, as well as maintaining. I would (and have) reccomend this course!"

"Not challenging enough to be rated a 4. A few challenging holes, in a somewhat wooded, somewhat open course set in a beautiful park. Course layout is meh, couple long walks to find the next tee pad (signage needs some TLC). Definitely not worth the trip if you’re more than 30 minutes away."

"Not a beginners course, load up on bug spray before going to hole 4 during summer months. Best course in the area to test your skill with elevation on just about every hole. Not too crowded either, two to three groups max on the weekends anytime I'm there."
