"Trying to play nine hole course and I ended up throwing three different hole fours. There are about 256 different combinations of short and long and mid range T pads. Very cool park just very difficult to figure out the layout. I will be back tomorrow and will try again."

"Visiting from philly, was truly amazing in the winter. Pads were wet and still gripped amazing. Only brought 3 or 4 discs (rhyno, aviar, pd, halo emperor) and wish I had a flippy 12 speed and some good straight mid shots. Truly a championship level course and the best in Long Island. "

"Great course! Long shots, great mix of woods and open areas. Lots of shot shaping opportunities. Great course for bringing your big arm and distance drivers. Everything was well maintained when I played. Only downside is lots of ticks (just check yourself well after playing) and have to pay to enter the park unless you have a empire pass. Great professional level course though. "

"Costs $8 to park/enter per car. The entire course was sprayed with pesticides a few days prior. I had zero ticks on me after 21 holes. "

"Overall a great course, I’ve played plenty of times for fun and the course is always well kept. I do suggest downloading the picture of the map before playing because there is no service you may get lost after the first few holes. You will find the next tee eventually."

"Tired to play this in August. This park is NOT dog friendly. There is a large white tailed deer population in the area. Walked to the first tee and got slammed by mosquitoes. Follow that up with signs warning for ticks and Lyme's disease and I changed my mind. Course looks fun to play but the bugs are insane. Really wish I was here between fall and spring yo try this one out."

"Very well maintained course with quality tee-pads and baskets. Nothing too unforgiving with zero water hazards to lose a disc in. The course is extremely flat but that is to be expected on Long Island."

"Written in response to the silliness of some low ratings here. Yes, there are ticks. Wear long pants, use some bug spray and do a tick check. Don't rate a 5 star course as 2 stars because there are bugs outside. And yes, the blue tees are quite challenging. If you're not at that level, play the reds (which are quite good), don't complain that the best course in the area isn't a pitch and putt. This is a gorgeous, well-maintained course, with excellent variety and challenging lines. Enjoy it."

"Tick city"

"Very challenging but fair course. Good mix between open field bombers and technical wooded shots. Short tees will still be pretty challenging for beginners, but a fun course nonetheless. Ticks are a major concern here so please use plenty of spray and wear pants even in the heat of the summer. This is a fantastic course with a great community and I’m lucky to call this my home course. Only thing this place is missing is some elevation changes, but this is a flat island so."

"Easily toughest course I’ve ever played; definitely not off more than I could chew with the long tees With that said… great layout; challenging; lots of fun shots Only complaint is the thick brush to the sides (which I spent a lot of time in… my own fault) and tall grass in the fairways. Definitely would play again, but absolutely from the short tees!!!"

"Beautiful course, but… TICKS. Wear pants. If you look for a disc in tall grass or anywhere off the fairway, you’ll have at least a few. We used bug spray with a high concentration of deet, and it wasn’t enough. We brushed off five or six each and pulled out a couple when we got home. All the more reason to hit the fairway!"

"Massive amount of ticks during tick season. Lotion up and keep dogs at home. My friend brought his dog for a round and pulled off ~20 ticks afterwards. "

"Wooded, but a fair number of open holes. Puts a high premium and being able to shape from the tees or on your approach. Hard finish: the back 12 has longer par 3’s, and it starts with the massive #10 (700’ par 4). All the par 4’s are healthy, and the back 12 features three of them (700’, 627’, 569’). Add these to a half-dozen Par 3’s in excess of 400’ in that same back 12, and you’ve got a lot of distance to cover with 40 throws "

"My home course, love it. Blues are very challenging, so stick to the reds if you're a beginner, but they're still challenging enough to enjoy. It's a heavily wooded park so take precautions for ticks and mosquitoes in the summer. Also make sure to keep a good eye on your discs in the fall/winter because losing a disc under the leaves is easy off the fairway. Only thing stopping me from giving it a 5 is that the red tee boxes on some holes aren't in the greatest shape/are non-existent"

"Great signage, beautiful course! Good mix of wooded and open holes, low ceilings, lefty plus righty holes. One word of caution in the summertime, though: bring PLENTY of bug spray!!!"

"This my home course. It is one of those courses that is challenging for beginners due to the length of the holes and the technical wood lines on many of the holes. However, it is still a great course to play. Just make sure to bring heavy duty by spray (permethrin, picaridin) in the spring and summer months to keep the ticks away. The ticks are a BIG problem here so take it seriously. "

"Very clean. Great holes, good shot variety, perfect teepads and signs. Some of the holes don’t have the next tee direction marked which is a bit confusing as they are fairly far apart. The locations on UDisc are extremely helpful. "
