Nice and clean, pretty wide open for the most part. A few trees to contend with. It seems a lot of shots have you throwing over or near bbq grills and picnic tables, so maybe not a good course when it’s busy out here. Fun course though.

Very nice location and well maintained, however a bit vanilla. It could stand to benefit from a some more par 4s, I could see combining hole 6 and 7 into one being quite nice. Lots of potential!

Although I’m not typically a fan of so many open-ish shots, I was impressed by how well designed Goose island is. I had an absolute blast playing this course and I’m glad to have another good course to the La Crosse area. If/when decent tee pads are added it will improve my rating. The Prodigy baskets are decent. My only concern is the potential for flooding every spring.
Edit (9/22/23): concrete pads added, half star upgrade. Actually… going to go play it right now.
