Emporia Country Club

Called ahead and said we'd be there on Tuesday and asked did we need to do anything to prepare. Answer was no. We show up (accountant, engineer, manager and defense contractor) and are refused service because someone is wearing a tshirt in the middle of july. We get collared overshirts and are refused service again, told to wait 4 hours. Not 30 seconds later someone is allowed to go play ball golf in a billboarded tshirt. No big deal we only drove 4 hours to come play here.

The course was great but hole 4 was missing a basket. Well maintained and groomed. Wide variety of big shots with some midrange tee shots and different lines. Could use a little more of the foliage and tree line available. The course was very difficult and took us 3 hours to play! Overall great course

Watch out for golf balls on a golf course aswell

I would of scored it a 5 star but we had an issue at the club house. We rented a golf cart and had to give our drivers license. The club house lost our drivers license when we finished up our round.

Outstanding course. Great shots and well kept. Worth playing if in the area surrounding it. Traveled from Illinois for it and don’t regret it.

Long for an amateur playing the pro course. Good course, great condition.

Well, you know, it's a ball golf course where you also play Disc Golf. Perfectly manicured and beautiful, but so many open, bomb it kind of shots. Worth the trip, at least once!

Don't forget a collared shirt. Not allowed to play without one :(

So hard! So windy! But fun!

HOT!

Absolutely amazing. Crushing drives but enough fair play that your not just throwing big rim drivers everywhere. The course has everything. Especially when the ob lines are painted and you can see the ob. that dictate the golf fairways. Top course in the world for sure.

Overrated. No carts, terrible signage to indicate where the next tee pad is. Lots of disc golf fairways were overgrown and unkept. Other than that you can see why it’s a good course for the pros to tackle and it makes for some amazing disc golf shots. That being said with no carts it took a group of 7 playing doubles 4.5 hours to complete so if you want to tackle it - take a break at hole 8 for some food or be prepared for a monster.

This course is long! But it was so much fun to play! Would totally play again!

Awesome course

This place was fun even in the wind! Bring your big arm, if you don’t have a big arm borrow one. Definitely rent the golf cart if it’s not too wet and they are available as it works out to just over 5 miles of walking.

There’s a reason the pros play here great course.

Absolutely fantastic course. One gripe is it takes like 3 hours to play with 2 people. It’s great but just very time consuming.

Bucket list. Not completely checked off. Will be back. Some holes have a shot and long pad and some holes will have a long and short basket. Course is well marked. A lot of out of bounds. One cart for DG. Staff were very helpful. We had to go in the club house and downstairs to the bar to pay and check in.
