Dix Park West

Demo layout was a bit cramped but the area is perfect for a course. Wide open fairways with huge oaks and plenty of shady canopy. Would love to see some technical holes through the woods on the final edition!

Long holes for a beginner. Open and fun though. I hope it stays permanent.

Long, fun course with great looks of the park as well as downtown Raleigh! I hope they bring it back permanently!

Fun layout catered to the advanced player. Lots of non-disc golf traffic due to being temporary and in a gorgeous setting.

Good design, with some fair birdie opportunities on the par 4s. Lots of tricky low-ceiling shots. Natural tee pads of differing texture (mulch, grass, mud, gravel), which is a bit annoying but it's a temporary course so that's pretty par for the course 😉

Nice course, very very wide open. A little muddy and tee pads are already getting chewed up, so be careful. Hole 7 is not 210 feet, I measured it at ~350 not accounting for elevation.

So much fun, bring your distance Drivers! I would say it is cart friendly but it slows down play too much.

Fun long course that allows for more wide open throws than most courses in the area. Fields hold a lot of water after a rain.
