"Cool course on a great property for disc golf. Wide variety of holes (deep woods, open fields, mixed terrain). I never played the older layout, but I can see how some changes (based on other reviews) were questionable. There’s a couple of holes where literally you’re just chucking it thru 600ft of forest and it feels less like disc golf and more like pinball. My only complaint as a first timer on the course was that many holes are tough to visualize from the tee box and there are no signs."

"pretty disappointed having not played here in 6 years. the 24 hole course was one of my favorites in oakland county, but the new layout absolutely butchered the course. holes that used to be challenging wooded shots that they combined were not fun at all. i’m sorry for whoever created this layout because it seems like you were really trying to think outside the box, but you ruined this course. don’t fix what ain’t broke. "Udisc app doesn't show all the t boxes. Udisc app mapping isn't correct. Some of the pars are super long for a par 3. Some of the holes have too many trees on the fairway. "

The only improvement was clearing out the tee shot of hole 6. I suspect it was changed due to new baskets (which were nice). Nightmarish changes. "

"Like the other reviews have said, the old layout was much better. I didn't mind the small changes in the woods, but once you get I to the field, I absolutely hate what they have done. Combining holes into 700-900 foot holes and completely taking out very fun holes. The 24 holes were perfect, don't know why they changed it all. "

Pretty boring after whole# 8. Addison oaks doesn't feel the same, this review will more than likely be followed by further harsh criticism from the public as it gets warmer and more people come back to play it. I for one would much rather play stony creek now. I used to look forward to coming here....not anymore. "

"After re visiting the course for about the 3rd time after the remodel I will have to admit that I was mistaken about the quality of the course. It’s actually built on great land and drains well and now the pace plays very nicely with only 18 holes. Wanna skip distance shots? Skip the field and play a more condensed loop it’s that easy. I’m sorry I was wrong . I will be back again soon "

"Not gonna lie, big fan of the new layout! The open distance holes are a nice challenge and some of the shorter holes that were more putts more than anything were removed or extended. Also, 18 holes doesn’t tucker you out as much and feels like more of a legitimate play."

It is a very clear layout with posts at each basket pointing you to the next hole. "
