I started playing disc golf shortly after moving to Winston Salem, NC in 2017. I quickly fell in love with the sport and have been finding ways to get involved in its growth ever since. In 2021 I had the incredible opportunity to visit the beautiful Åland Islands to study their DiscGolfPark project as part of my M.A. Sustainability degree. I am particularly interested in learning and writing about how disc golf can be a recreational leader in environmental sustainability and social equity and accessibility.
